KNOW OUR PLANTS      Date: 06/08/2018 Department has started an innovative activity from 6 th of August namely “KNOW OUR PLANTS” in which weekly a plant twig from the surrounding area with its detailed information such as botanical name, common name, occurrence and its uses were displayed to create awareness, interest and enthusiasm among students and faculty members. Hon. Principal Dr. Arun Gade Sir inaugurated the activity. Dr. B. T. Dangat (Head, Botany Department) introduces the theme about the activity. He also proposed vote of thanks to the participants and teachers involved in this activity.

What Next?? (Career Opportunities in Science):      Date: 28/02/2019 Wallpaper is displayed on career opportunities (What Next??) in science stream to create awareness knowledge and information among students. Detailed information was given on various career opportunities in science and allied branches from 10th std. to after B.Sc. in various disciplines. Various website addresses with the details regarding various entrance test to respective course were displayed. Hon. Principal Dr. Arun Gade Sir inaugurated the activity by cutting strip. Dr. B. T. Dangat (Head, Botany Department) introduces the theme behind the wallpapers. He also proposed vote of thanks to the students and teachers involved in this activity.

Wallpaper activity: Wild edible vegetable Conservation and Uses ( रानभाज्या : संवर्धन व उपयोग )       Date : 10/09/2018 Wallpaper is displayed on the wild edible vegetable introduction, conservation and uses to create awareness among students and faculty members. Information with their botanical name, common name and marathi name with medicinal uses of 36 wild edible vegetable were displayed in marathi on wallpaper. Hon. Principal Dr. Arun Gade Sir inaugurated the activity by cutting paper strip. Dr. B. T. Dangat (Head, Botany Department) introduces the theme behind the wallpapers. He also proposed vote of thanks to the participants and teachers involved in this activity.
