On 25 August 2025, Our department published a wallpaper featuring plants used in Ganesh Puja (गणेशपत्री ). Students of Botany department organised a wallpaper as a part of awareness campaign. They prepared beautiful wallpaper combining cultural, spiritual and scientific views about plants used in Ganesh puja. In all 21 plants were highlighted along with their botanical information and medicinal value. Details of the Programme: 1. Introduction: Dr. P. B. Kamble (Head, Dept. of Botany) 2. President : I/C Principal Prof. (Dr.) S. S. Desai Gracious presence: Hon. Dr. B. N. Kokare (Science In-charge) Vote of Thanks : Iqura Chipade (B. Sc. III) 4. Anchoring : Sagarika Jadhav (B. Sc. III) Outcome of programe: Awareness was created about medicinal values of plants which used in Ganesh Puja (गणेशपत्री )
