· The Department of Botany organized a Hands-on Training Programme on Floral Arrangement for students to develop practical skills and creativity in flower decoration on Saturday, 21st March, 2026. The programme focused on introducing participants to the principles of floral design, selection of suitable flowers and foliage, and techniques of arranging flowers aesthetically. During the session, students actively participated in preparing different types of floral arrangements using fresh plant materials under expert guidance. The training emphasized proper handling, preservation, and eco-friendly use of locally available flowers. The programme provided an interactive learning experience and enhanced students’ appreciation for ornamental plants and their practical applications.
